“ Shirin is a long-term enthusiastic member of Danish Meetup and a regular attendee at all our events. Although she has never had any formal tuition, she has taught herself the basic grammar and vocabulary by using CD's, books and tapes. Her accent is very good for a beginner. You can easily spot Shirin at Meetups. She will be the one with the notebook eagerly scribbling down a useful word or phrase. Shirin is a singer, songwriter by profession and has done a showcase concert at one of our events.... ”
